Increase in Tourism Income Last Year by 76

Khaberni - Preliminary data released by the Central Bank indicated an increase in tourism income during December of the year 2025 by 15.1 percent, reaching $630 million, compared with an increase of 8.0 percent, amounting to $547.2 million during the same month of the year 2024.
Tourism income increased by 7.6 percent during the year 2025, reaching $7.790 billion compared to a decrease in 2024 by 2.3 percent, amounting to $7.239 billion, due to an increase in the number of tourists by 15.3 percent.
The data shows an increase in tourism income in 2025 from European nationalities (39.8 percent), Asian (32.7 percent), American (18.8 percent), Arab (4.0 percent), and other nationalities (32.6 percent), while the tourism income from expatriate Jordanians remained at its levels.
The data also shows an increase in spending on tourism abroad during December of the year 2025 by 9.1 percent, reaching $161.4 million, whereas during the entire year of 2025, it increased by 5.8 percent to reach $2.048 billion.
