Khaberni - Under the patronage of the university president, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the friendly basketball championship "students 3×3" was concluded, organized by the Dean of Student Affairs - Department of Activities and Student Clubs, in the Arena Hall with the participation of 7 governmental and private Jordanian universities, which witnessed strong competitions and a distinctive sports spirit among the participating teams.
Al-Ahliyya Amman University team (1) managed to win the championship title after defeating Al-Ahliyya Amman University team (2) in the final match with a score of (18-15), making the Al-Ahliyya Amman University team (2) in the second place, while Zarqa University team secured the third place.
The championship included a friendly match between the students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Zarqa University, ending with a victory for the Al-Ahliyya Amman University team with a score of 60-50.
At the end of the championship, university president Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan and the Dean of Student Affairs Professor Dr. Mustafa Atiyat crowned the winning teams of the top three places, in the presence of a number of administrative staff members and a large gathering of students.
The aim of this championship is to promote university sports activities and encourage students to play basketball, in addition to developing a spirit of competition and cooperation among participants, and enhancing communication and relations between universities in a friendly sports atmosphere.
