Khaberni - FC Barcelona's president, Joan Laporta, criticized Real Madrid's French star striker, Kylian Mbappé, for his behavior during the medal distribution ceremony at the Spanish Super Cup final.
Mbappé stirred controversy when he asked his teammates to avoid standing in the honor guard to greet the Barcelona players as they went to receive the Super Cup, which the Catalan team won 3-2 at a match held at the "El Inmàs" Stadium.
Joan Laporta said in statements to Radio Catalonia: "What Mbappé did surprised me, in victory or defeat you must show generosity and respect, it's a sport and you should act naturally, I believe we respect our rivals in victory, and that's why I don't understand Mbappé's behavior."
He added: "Something happened between the players in the last league game, and the players were a bit tense which is understandable, honestly, I didn't see what Mbappé did at the time, but I understand that they were very angry."
Laporta continued: "I think they knew we had a chance to win, and they saw it on the field and were angry."
