Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the capital's criminal investigation division staff began investigating a complaint received from a coffee shop two days ago, after an individual, while inside his vehicle, ordered items from the shop. After the worker handed over his order, he fled the scene, dragging the worker for a distance which resulted in him falling and being taken to the hospital in a moderate condition.
The spokesperson confirmed that the investigative team from the criminal investigation division was able, after gathering information and through criminal methods, to narrow down the suspects to one individual who had committed four similar incidents in past months, three of which targeted coffee shops and the fourth occurred at a gas station where he filled up and fled without paying. At the time, the cases were followed up, and he was arrested and confessed to all charges and was then taken to court and detained in one of the reform and rehabilitation centers.
The spokesperson continued that the location of that individual was determined, and he was raided and arrested again, and investigations with him were initiated to refer him to the judiciary and to take all legal and administrative measures against him.
