Khaberni - The Turkish security authorities have arrested the famous actor Can Yaman and the artists Celine Georgeuzel, Aysha Saglam, and Giren Alpir, in the framework of extensive investigations on charges of being involved in "drugs" cases.
These arrests were part of a precise security operation led by the Office of Investigations into Smuggling, Drugs and Economic Crimes at the Istanbul Prosecutor's office to control celebrities involved in promoting and using drugs.
The mentioned names have been detained to be investigated on the charges attributed to them within the scope of the case.
Additionally, the gendarme forces (gendarmes) carried out overnight raids that included the famous "Bebek Hotel" in the Besiktas area, as well as a number of well-known entertainment venues in the region.
The operation witnessed an intense security mobilization to gather evidence and search for prohibited items within the targeted sites.
The operation continued for several hours before the security forces withdrew immediately after completing the field tasks, amid great anticipation of what the official investigations in the coming days will yield.
The investigations began in early October 2025, in charges related to "drug use" involving a large group of celebrities in the fields of art, media, and Turkish society.
