Saudi Arabia Among Filming Locations for the Anticipated Rush Hour 4

Khaberni - The Rush Hour series is gearing up for its fourth installment, with filming plans that include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, among various international locations and a story with a global theme.

Rush Hour 4 is preparing to enter the production phase in the coming period, following recent media reports about possible shooting locations and the initial outline for the story, alongside the film release strategy adopted by director Brett Ratner to accomplish the work.

According to the Tribune website, filming for Rush Hour 4 is expected to begin in the spring or summer of 2026, at several locations around the world, including Saudi Arabia, China, and Africa, in line with the series' practice of taking its protagonists to new environments in each installment; with the first installment set in Los Angeles, the second in Hong Kong, and the third in Paris. Plans indicate that many scenes of the film will be shot in Saudi Arabia, with a budget of about 100 million dollars.

The fourth installment of Rush Hour addresses the issue of poaching wildlife on a global scale, as agents "Lee" and "Carter" embark on missions that extend between China, Africa, and Saudi Arabia.

This international direction is a continuation of the previous installments' spirit, which relied on diversifying geographical environments, while maintaining the usual blend of comedy, thrill, and action.

Hopes of regaining cinematic success
Fans of the Rush Hour series are looking forward to the fourth installment successfully regaining the franchise's public momentum by presenting a fresh vision of the action-comedy series, especially after the weak results achieved by the third installment both critically and commercially, securing a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Rush Hour 4 team is working on presenting a more vibrant story, aimed at attracting the audience through a balanced mix of action, comedy, and international thrill, while preserving the series' general character based on exploring new environments and different adventures.

Stars of Rush Hour 4
According to the websites Deadline and JoBlo, Paramount Pictures is preparing to launch the fourth installment of the Rush Hour series, with the return of stars Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker to portray the characters of Inspector "Lee" and Officer "Carter," more than 15 years after the release of the last part.

So far, the final contracts have not been officially announced, but sources indicate that the stars are welcoming the return to work and encourage the studio to proceed with the project.
