Najwa Ibrahim loses the ability to walk after a horrific accident

Khaberni - Egyptian media and artist Najwa Ibrahim is facing a new health crisis, after a sudden setback that brought her struggles to the forefront again, depriving her of the ability to walk normally following a long treatment journey, after a horrifying car accident she experienced in America last summer.

According to a source close to the media figure known as "Mama Najwa," she has recently returned to Cairo after undergoing several precise surgeries in America, resulting from severe fractures and injuries caused by the accident. Upon her return, she immediately started an intensive physical therapy program, hoping to regain her balance and mobility.

However, her health condition saw an unexpected development, as she sustained a strong injury to her knee during one of the physical therapy sessions, which focused on the spine and knees. This caused a severe setback that forced her to use a walking stick inside her home, having lost the ability to move normally.

The source indicated that Najwa Ibrahim is preparing to conduct detailed examinations and specialized scans in the coming days, aiming to assess the magnitude of the new injury and devise an alternative treatment plan, in an attempt to overcome this difficult phase and regain her ability to walk.

Najwa Ibrahim, born in 1946, is one of the most prominent icons of media and art in Egypt, leaving a deep impact in the memory of successive generations through iconic programs like "Think Seconds, Win Minutes" and "Good Morning Egypt," alongside timeless cinematic contributions in prominent films such as El Ard (The Earth), and The Bullet Is Still in My Pocket.
