Khaberni - Prime Minister of the occupation, Benjamin Netanyahu, urged calm after a bus driver ran over and killed a teenage boy, on Tuesday, during a protest in Jerusalem against a law aiming to conscript the Haredi Jews (ultra-Orthodox) into the occupation army.
Netanyahu said in a statement, early this morning: "I call for restraint to prevent the situation from worsening so that we do not witness further tragedies," adding that "the death will be subject to a thorough investigation."
The Israeli rescue services reported that at least one person was killed and several others were injured when a bus collided with Haredi Jewish protesters in Jerusalem, who were protesting against their conscription into the occupation army.
The ambulance service (Magen David Adom) reported that a young man was trapped under the bus and was declared dead. Several others were injured. According to the police, the bus driver was detained. The police have not yet released any further details about the incident.
"Times of Israel" reported yesterday, Tuesday, that prominent rabbis called for organizing the protest in Jerusalem.
