The government discusses employing Jordanian nurses in Italy

Khaberni - The Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor Dr. Abdul Halim Dojan discussed today, Tuesday, at the ministry's headquarters with the advisor to the president of the Lombardy region in Italy Dr. Marco Varc on ways of cooperation in preparation for opening up employment opportunities for Jordanian nurses in Italy.

Dojan confirmed, in the presence of the board member of the Nurses Syndicate, Dr. Abdullah Haymour, the Labor Ministry's commitment to marketing Jordanian talents abroad, both in regional and global markets.

He indicated that this meeting paves the way for Jordanian nurses to work in the Italian private sector, noting that the technical details will be discussed between the Italian side, the Nurses Syndicate, and other relevant parties under the supervision of the Ministry of Labor.

In turn, the advisor to the president of the Lombardy region in Italy, Dr. Marco Varc, affirmed that Italy welcomes the recruitment of Jordanian talents in the nursing sector, noting that the doors to cooperation are open between Jordan and Italy.

He added that the Italian health sector has job opportunities to attract Jordanian nurses.

On his part, the board member of the Nurses’ Syndicate, Dr. Abdullah Haymour, confirmed that the syndicate supports the employment of Jordanian nurses in Italy in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, noting that there are at least two thousand nurses seeking employment from the members of the General Body of the Syndicate.
