American Police Kill Man Who Attacked Them with an Axe After Discovering 3 Bodies Inside His Home

Khaberni - In one of the bloodiest and most mysterious incidents in New Jersey, a routine emergency call about an armed man inside his apartment turned into a shocking scene revealing a multiple-victim crime. Upon the police's arrival at the scene, the suspect surprised the officers with an axe attack, prompting them to shoot and kill him immediately. The greater tragedy was uncovered when three dismembered bodies were found inside his apartment, an incident that shook public opinion and prompted authorities to launch an extensive investigation into what happened behind closed doors before law enforcement intervened.

According to Middlesex County prosecutors, the police received an emergency call about a person with a knife inside a home on River Road in Piscataway, as reported by the "New York Post".

Attempt to contain before opening fire
According to security sources, upon the police's arrival at the site, an unidentified man charged towards the officers while wielding a large blade, later identified as an axe. Reports indicated that the officers tried to use a stun gun to stop him, but the attempt failed.

As the suspect continued advancing towards the officers with the weapon, the police fired at him, resulting in his death at the scene.

Discovery of three bodies inside the home
Following the shooting, the police found three deceased individuals inside the home, whose identities have not yet been disclosed. Local media cited an informed source stating that two of the victims were grandparents, while the identity of the third victim remains unknown.

The authorities have yet to determine the relationship between the man who was killed and the three victims, nor have they revealed the causes of death of the victims inside the apartment.

Investigations are ongoing
The Piscataway Police Department confirmed in a statement on "Facebook" that the incident appears to be isolated and does not pose an ongoing threat to the community.

On his part, the president of the Police Association of New Jersey, Peter Andreev, stated that all the police officers involved in the intervention are undergoing assessment, describing what happened as a "horrific crime".

The authorities announced that the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, in cooperation with the New Jersey State Attorney General's Office, will handle the investigation into the circumstances of the incident, including the use of force by the police and the conditions surrounding the deaths of the three victims.
