Khaberni - The media spokesperson for the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Abla Washah, said on Tuesday that there is a system at the authority that will be applied on official university lines so that fares are paid electronically through a card.
She added in statements to Al Mamlaka channel that the electronic payment system serves the integration of the service, leading to the best results.
"Student transport fees are supported by 50% and fairness in providing support through the use of technology is important to us," according to Washah.
Washah spoke about certain routes existing to serve the students.
She clarified that electronic payment is currently available on some buses.
