Khaberni - The Traffic Management at the Public Security Directorate announced a relative improvement in the level of traffic safety during the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025.
The Traffic Management reported on Sunday a decrease in the number of deaths per 10,000 vehicles by 21.8% during the first quarter of the current year, compared to the same period last year.
It also indicated a decrease in the number of injuries per 10,000 vehicles by 10.7% during the same period, reflecting an improvement in the level of safety on the roads.
The Traffic Management attributed this improvement to the positive impact of regulatory, supervisory, and awareness measures, along with improved behaviors of road users, especially regarding compliance with legal speeds and attentiveness while driving.
