Christians in Jordan celebrate Easter on Sunday, and the celebration begins with prayers held in various churches of the kingdom followed by family meetings.
Easter is considered one of the most important Christian holidays, with prayers held at various churches on Holy Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Last Sunday, Christians in Jordan went to their churches to celebrate Palm Sunday, commemorating the entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, one week before the celebration of Easter and the end of the fasting period.
The Minister of Government Communication, spokesperson for the government, Mohammed Al-Momani, conveyed Easter greetings to the Christians.
He posted on platform X "Sincere congratulations to our Christian brothers and sisters, may God bring it back to them and to our beloved country with goodness and blessing, and may He always grant us all the grace of love and fraternity. May Jordan remain a beacon of honor for all its children and may Jordanians remain a unique fabric unmatched in its strength."
