Khaberni - Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, discussed by phone today, Tuesday, with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shar'a the development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call today from President Al-Shar'a during which they discussed "opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation in various fields, alongside reviewing developments in the situation in the region, and a number of issues of mutual interest."
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that during the call, ways to "enhance bilateral cooperation in economic development and investment fields were discussed, in addition to discussing regional developments and a number of issues of mutual interest.
The Saudi foreign ministry confirmed the rejection of any separatist calls aiming to divide Syria, denouncing Israeli incursions, and affirming their support for measures taken by the Syrian government to achieve security.
The call came just a day after Syria and Israel resumed indirect security negotiations in the French capital, Paris, with direct American mediation.
