Khaberni - The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Mohammed Khalayleh, announces on Tuesday, the arrangements for this year's Hajj season during a press conference to be held at the Islamic Cultural Center affiliated with the King Abdullah I Mosque in the Abdali area.
Minister Khalayleh confirmed in October 2025 that the number of registrants for the 1447 Hijri (2026 Gregorian) Hajj season through the electronic Hajj portal, at the end of the initial registration period on Sunday evening, reached 27,709 citizens.
He added that the quota allocated for Jordanian pilgrims is 8,000 pilgrims, in addition to 4,500 pilgrims from the Muslims of the '48.
