Khaberni - In an achievement reflecting the excellence and creativity of Amman Arab University students, the participating students in the 2025 World English Language Olympics for Universities 2025 won two awards for the second consecutive time at the level of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Arab countries in the Olympics, which took place under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Minister of Education, and in the presence of Mr. Shadi Masadeh, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Majed Hamad, the General Director of the Olympics, which was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Massa International Testing Company, under the theme: "Sports", and which lasted for three days in Amman, Jordan.
The competition included five main pillars: theatrical performance, project, English language test, local community service, and teamwork, with the participation of (55) diverse teams from Jordanian and international universities. The team (Fluentish), which included students: Mohamed Badawi, Zamzam Abdrabuh, Noor Abu Al-Feilat, Layan Marouf, and Lulia Ahmed, supervised by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fawwara, won the award for Best Sustainable Community Service Impact (Best Community Service Impact Sustainability), while the team (Lingua Champs), which included students: Hala Ouda, Aisha Subh, Dara Ghanimat, and Zahra Al-Zaouri, supervised by Professor Tariq Al-Worikat, won the award for the best educational project based on STEAM methodology (Best Project in STEAM Education). This excellence reflects the university students' proficiency in linguistic and creative skills as well as teamwork, and highlights the commitment of Amman Arab University to developing its students' competencies according to the highest international standards, thereby enhancing its position in global academic competitions.
