College of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University Organizes a Volunteer Initiative to Clean the University Mosque

Khaberni -  In the context of Amman Arab University’s commitment to enhancing the values of volunteerism and community responsibility, and establishing a culture of teamwork among students, the College of Arts and Sciences, in cooperation with the Dean of Student Affairs, organized a volunteer initiative to clean the Amman Arab University Mosque for students of the Volunteer Work and Community Development course, supervised by Dr. Lina Al-Jarrah, a faculty member at the College of Arts and Sciences at the university.

The initiative saw active participation from students of the Volunteer Work and Community Development course, who carried out cleaning of the mosque and its facilities and organizing them, in an atmosphere characterized by cooperation, enthusiasm, and team spirit, reflecting the positive role of youth in serving the community. The initiative aimed to establish a culture of teamwork among students, enhance their awareness of the importance of maintaining and cleaning the houses of God, and encourage them to engage in volunteer activities that contribute to developing a sense of belonging and responsibility.

At the conclusion of the initiative, Dr. Al-Jarrah praised the students' efforts and exceptional interaction, emphasizing the importance of continuing to implement such initiatives that contribute to building conscious and socially active student personalities. Meanwhile, the Dean of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University, which plays a pivotal role in nurturing students and supporting extracurricular activities, affirmed its ongoing support for meaningful initiatives that enhance the values of volunteer work and community responsibility, and contribute to preparing students who are active and capable of serving their community.
