Khaberni - The number of electronic payment transactions executed through the Sanad app immediately after the new update reached 2091 transactions within five days, through all the payment channels available through the app, indicating the growing use of digital payment methods for government services, according to the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Sami Samirat.
Samirat stated during a press conference discussing the major updates made to the Sanad app, that the app displays in its updated version the digital official documents, such as personal ID, driving license, and vehicle license, in the form and design approved for traditional documents, which facilitates their recognition and enhances their reliability and adoption as official digital documents by various entities.
Samirat confirmed that this update is part of ongoing efforts to develop digital government services and make them more efficient and accessible. The ministry will continue to update and develop the Sanad app and expand its range of services, in line with national directions in digital transformation, the comprehensive update path in the kingdom, and the directions of the National Council for Future Technology.
