Khaberni - In an achievement that reflects the excellence and creativity of Amman Arab University students, the university participants won two awards at the 2025 Global English Language Olympiad for universities for the second consecutive time on both the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Arab countries level, under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Azmi Mahafzah, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Minister of Education, attended by Mr. Shadi Musaid, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Majed Hamad, the General Director of the Olympiad, which was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Masa International Testing Company, under the theme "Sports", and which lasted for three days in the capital, Amman-Jordan.
The competition included five main axes: theatrical performance, project, English language test, local community service, and teamwork, with the participation of (55) teams from diverse Jordanian and international universities. The team 'Fluentish', comprising students: Mohammed Badawi, Zamzam Abedrabu, Noor Abu Al-Feilat, Lian Maarouf, and Lulya Ahmed, under the supervision of Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Fawwaz, won the Best Community Service Impact Sustainability Award. The team 'Lingua Champs', consisting of the students: Hala Awadah, Aisha Subh, Dara Ghneimat, and Zahraa Al-Zou'bi, under the supervision of Professor Tarek Al-Werikat, won the Best Project in STEAM Education Award. This excellence reflects the university students' superiority in linguistic skills, creativity, and teamwork, and highlights Amman Arab University's commitment to enhancing its students' competencies according to the highest international standards, thus strengthening its position in global academic competitions.
