Khaberni - The national Olympic football team under 23 years of age drew with its Japanese counterpart with a score of 1-1 in the friendly match held this Thursday evening in the Qatari capital Doha, as part of the training camp that the team is holding in Qatar in preparation for the Asian Cup competition.
Oudeh Al-Fakhouri scored the goal for the national team in the match, which was held behind closed doors without the presence of spectators or television broadcast.
This match is the last preparatory station for the team before leaving to Saudi Arabia tomorrow morning, Friday, to participate in the Asian championship.
The team begins its journey in the Asian championship by facing Vietnam on the 6th of this month, then meets Saudi Arabia and concludes the group stage against Kyrgyzstan.
During its training camp in Qatar, the Olympic team met the Uzbekistan team in a friendly match held last Saturday, which ended in a goalless draw, before drawing today with Japan at the end of the Qatar camp before heading tomorrow to Saudi Arabia to participate in the Asian Cup.
