Back Pain Causes and Solutions

Khaberni - The "Healthy Back" movement in Germany stated that there are many causes of back pain, most notably lifting heavy objects incorrectly, lack of movement, and being overweight.

Back pain may also stem from poor body posture, such as sitting hunched over computers or mobile phones for extended hours, which strains the muscles and joints and leads to pain over time.

The "Healthy Back" movement added that rest in bed might help alleviate muscle tension, yet prolonged bed rest may extend the duration of back pain, and even worsen it if it stems from nerve compression, disk problems, or joint degeneration.

Exercise
Doctors often recommend exercise and physical activity to alleviate back pain and prevent it. Exercise strengthens the muscles and improves movement, and also helps in shedding excess weight.

For this purpose, it is advisable to choose physical activities that do not strain the joints such as walking and swimming.

Surgery.. When?
Surgery might be necessary if the pains:

Intensify, especially at night or when lying down.
Extend to one or both legs.
Cause weakness, numbness, or tingling in one or both legs.
Are accompanied by problems controlling the bowels or bladder.
