Agreement Reached Manchester City Secures a Super Deal in Winter

Khaberni - Media reports indicate that Manchester City is close to finalizing the transfer of Ghanaian Antoine Semenyo from team Bournemouth to its ranks soon.

"Sky Sports" reported that Manchester City has reached a comprehensive agreement regarding the signing of Semenyo from Bournemouth.

It added that negotiations between the clubs have rapidly progressed in the past 24 hours, with the agreement reaching advanced stages.

It explained that the final details concerning the player's release clause, valued at 65 million British pounds, have been agreed upon between the clubs, and Manchester City is also nearing completion of the agreement on the personal terms in the Ghanaian winger’s contract.

However, according to the same source, there is no need to rush the finalization of the agreement, as no other club is expected to reach an advanced stage of negotiations, and the transfer clause will not be activated until Thursday when the winter transfer window opens.

So far, Manchester City is the only club that has approached Bournemouth concerning the transfer clause in Semenyo's contract, which is scheduled to be activated between January 1 and 10.

This is despite previous interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Chelsea in the player before the Christmas period, with Chelsea preferring not to proceed with the deal after a previous offer, while Tottenham pursued other targets.

Semenyo remains in Bournemouth's squad for their away match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge today, Tuesday. It’s also not ruled out that the player will be in the squad for Saturday’s game against Arsenal.

Representatives for Semenyo were in Manchester on Monday to discuss the special terms of his contract with the club, while negotiations between the clubs are going positively.
