Khaberni - Famous golf coach Butch Harmon reveals why the prestigious "Augusta National" club refused the membership of the American President Donald Trump, stating that Trump’s personality does not align with the strict standards of this renowned sports club.
Augusta National Golf Club is known as the elite club for golf and is located in Augusta, United States, hosting the annual Masters Tournament for golf.
Harmon (82 years old), who has known Trump since his childhood, stated that his exclusion is due to his "arrogant" personality, as he told the British "Daily Mail": "I think you can answer that for yourselves. He's arrogant. I don’t think he fits the membership criteria at Augusta."
He added, clarifying that it's not about the political position: "His (Trump's) presidency has nothing to do with it, as there are many other presidents who have played golf and are not members of the club. Clinton and Obama played golf. I simply believe his personality does not align with this particular club. This is the most cautious and guarded way I can put it."
