Khaberni - The Lebanese chef and famous content creator, Abeer Al-Sagheer, topped the social media discussions in recent days, after her appearance in a video on her official accounts, where she revealed a long-term health struggle with tooth pain, attributing the responsibility to a cosmetic experiment she underwent at an early age.
In the circulated video, Abeer shared the details of her story, explaining that she was in her twenties when she went to a dentist just to whiten her teeth, before he convinced her to undergo "veneers" under the pretext that the procedure would be minor, assuring her that he would only file down a limited part of the teeth.
However, she was surprised, according to her narrative, that the dentist ended up filing down most of the teeth irreversibly, leading her into a long journey of pain and ongoing suffering.
Abeer Al-Sagheer confirmed that this moment marked a harsh turning point in her life, saying she "bid farewell to her natural teeth" from that day, to start a series of failed attempts to install new teeth, which were prone to frequent breaking and caused unbearable pain, in addition to the inability to tolerate hot or cold beverages, as well as insomnia and sleep disturbances due to the severe pain.
She mentioned that she tried to fix the problem more than once, re-installing her teeth after a year of suffering, then she traveled to Turkey for a new intervention which was unsatisfactory for her, before she eventually went to a doctor who managed to improve the external appearance of the teeth, however, she emphasized that the pain from filing the teeth continued to accompany her, confirming that this type of pain "follows a person throughout their life".
Abeer sent a clear warning message to her followers, urging them to preserve their natural teeth and not resort to "veneers" unless absolutely necessary, stating that her personal experience extending over seven years made her realize the significant health risks associated with this cosmetic procedure.
The video sparked widespread interaction and significant controversy on digital platforms, with speculations and accusations about the identity of the doctor responsible for her condition, prompting Abeer Al-Sagheer to make an official clarification through the "stories" feature on her Instagram account, where she assured that she did not mention any doctor's name, nor did she intend to offend any medical party.
Abeer emphasized that the only doctor she holds responsible for what happened is the first one who filed her teeth, explaining that he is not present on social media, and that all accusations directed at other doctors are "not true," whether those who were accused or those who claimed to have treated her.
She affirmed that the main purpose of the video was to provide advice and warning only, not to defame any doctor or stir controversy.
Abeer Al-Sagheer, now 27 years old, is one of the most prominent content creators in the field of cooking on digital platforms, known for her modern and simple style in presenting Arabic and international dishes, and has achieved notable success, with her YouTube channel surpassing 3.5 billion views.
She has also won several awards, the most notable being the Joy Award for Best Influencer in the Cooking and Creative Content category.
