Khaberni - The film "Death Squad" starring Ahmed Ezz has entered a halt; which led to the postponement of its release in theaters, after it was expected to be viewed by the audience during the year 2026, without a new date set so far.
This setback comes as a result of director Ahmed Alaa Eldeeb being busy with another cinematic project titled "Ocean", concurrently with Ahmed Ezz's preparations for a new drama work; which reflected on the film's shooting schedule and led to its disruption.
Despite the absence of an official announcement regarding the resumption date, expectations indicate the possibility of completing the filming in the upcoming period, in preparation for setting a new release date.
The film includes a selection of stars from the Egyptian cinema, including Menna Shalaby, Asser Yassin, Mahmoud Hemida, and Bayoumi Fouad, along with a group of prominent names, with a special participation from several guest stars, most notably Amina Khalil.
The work is written by Salah El Gehiny, and it is expected to be one of the most anticipated cinematic productions upon completion of its filming.
