Khaberni - American singer Beyoncé has officially become a billionaire, becoming the fifth musical artist in the world to achieve this milestone, according to a report published by "The Guardian" citing Forbes magazine.
According to the report, 44-year-old Beyoncé has joined the billionaire's club in the music world, alongside her husband rapper Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna, after years of consecutive artistic and commercial successes.
The newspaper explained that the significant leap in Beyoncé's wealth came from the massive concert tours she conducted over the last few years. Her 2023 world tour "Renaissance" grossed close to $600 million, before she made a strong comeback in 2024 with the Cowboy Carter album, which received widespread critical acclaim and won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
In 2025, Beyoncé launched a music tour described as the highest-grossing globally, with ticket sales surpassing $400 million, and about $50 million in sales from products associated with the concerts, further cementing her status as one of the most commercially successful artists in the history of music.
According to Forbes, Beyoncé's earnings in 2025 alone were about $148 million before taxes, making her the third highest-paid musician in the world, with confirmation that the bulk of her fortune stems from her music, copyrights to her work, and her global tours, and not just from her commercial investments.
Despite expanding into other areas, such as launching a hair care brand, a private alcohol production venture, and a fashion line, the report emphasized that music still remains the backbone of her financial empire.
The Guardian noted that Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment in 2010, which gave her full control over her music production, concerts, and documentary works, contributing significantly to her profits and artistic independence.
