The Jordan River Foundation Concludes the Youth Entrepreneurial Skills Project Doubling its Training Outputs

Khaberni The Jordan River Foundation concluded, in partnership with Sharek Youth Forum and the institutions BANTANI andCINOP with support from the European Union, the "Youth Entrepreneurial Skills" project to enhance leadership skills and prepare them for the job market by integrating the entrepreneurship framework EntreComp with virtual reality technologies.

The project resulted in exceptional outcomes compared to its initial goals, as it qualified 17 main trainers instead of 8, in addition to training 40 youth mentors compared to 24.

It also trained 102 young men and women out of a target of 80, during six training rounds focusing on skills of creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and self-awareness, alongside simulation experiences implemented via virtual reality technologies that allowed participants to engage in real professional situations in safe and stimulating learning environments.

The success rates recorded also point to the project’s capability of reaching larger numbers and achieving a comprehensive training experience thanks to a competency-based methodology and the adoption of advanced digital tools.

The project followed precise mechanisms in attracting and selecting participants, developing standardized training materials, and training partners on using specially designed virtual reality scenarios to enhance entrepreneurial skills and job market entry, which contributed to improving learning quality and enhancing active participation within the sessions.

The "Youth Entrepreneurial Skills" project was implemented as part of the Jordan River Foundation's efforts to support initiatives that enhance young people's capacities, expand their digital learning opportunities, and provide them with practical skills to enhance their professional readiness, especially in the governorates of Karak and Balqa.
