Khaberni - Brazilian Ailton, former Werder Bremen player, reclaimed his top scorer award from the 2003-2004 German league season after waiting 18 years, sharing a picture of the award presented by "Kicker" magazine after receiving it.
Ailton, who played for Werder Bremen from 1998 to 2004, won the top scorer award of the German league presented by "Kicker" magazine, but his advisor at the time confiscated it intending to sell it to cover financial obligations on the player before it was returned to him last Saturday.
Ailton (52 years old) wrote on "Instagram": Thank God, my award has returned to me after my former advisor tried to sell it for a long time, and fortunately, he was not successful.
The former striker told "Bild" newspaper: This award means everything to me and I will not give it up.
Ailton achieved the top scorer award in the 2003-2004 German league with a total of 28 goals, five goals ahead of former Bayern Munich striker Roy Makaay.
