The Minister of National Security in the Israeli occupying government, Itamar Ben Gvir, called on all "Israelis" to carry weapons and arm themselves immediately, revealing that Tel Aviv has made significant concessions and conducted radical reforms to facilitate settlers obtaining the necessary permits, considering the spread of weapons among civilians essential to curb guerrilla operations.
During his visit to console the residents of "Afula", "Beit Shean", and "the Valley" following the recent operation, Ben Gvir stated: "It has been proven once again that weapons save lives, and our policy of raising the level of alert has prompted people to carry their weapons; enabling a security officer to neutralize the perpetrators."
He renewed his call for the settlers to join the "readiness courses," indicating the opening of over a thousand similar courses over the past three years to enhance the settlers' combat capabilities.
In related context, Ben Gvir emphasized that the next step in providing security is to pass a law that metes out the death penalty to those who carry out attacks against settlers, expressing his hope that this legislation will not be obstructed.
The right-wing minister claimed that the perpetrators do not seek suicide as rumored, but come to spend their lives in prisons, confirming that the conditions inside the jails have changed drastically and are no longer as before, but the ultimate solution remains the death penalty.
Ben Gvir confirmed that the Prison Service under his supervision has ended what he described as "summer camps" for prisoners, vowing to continue the pressure to enact laws that suppress the activity of the perpetrators.
He concluded his statements by repeating his call to the Israelis: "Arm yourselves, as weapons prove their effectiveness in the field," clearly signaling towards directing the Israeli occupying community towards a comprehensive militarization to face escalating security challenges.
