Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on Tuesday at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, received Mrs. Fadwa Barghouti, wife of the senior leader and Central Committee member of the Fatah movement, Marwan Barghouti, in the context of supporting the Palestinian, Arab, and international campaign aimed at his release.
The Palestinian presidency affirmed that the demand for the release of leader Marwan Barghouti has always been at the top of President's agenda and Fatah movement.
The presidency saluted the endurance of the great national leader Marwan Barghouti and his determination, and his brave national positions, applauding the steadfastness of other fighting prisoners defending freedom and the independence of the state.
