Khaberni - Social media users have been circulating a video in the past few hours that shows someone documenting a wedding procession in the Jamiliya district in the city of Aleppo, in a notable scene amid the security tensions that the Syrian governorate has experienced recently.
The person in the video appears saying: "All the bombardment and currently in a groom's procession... we want to live, life must go on, the people are formidable, all this bombardment and the procession is 200 meters away from the shell location," in a scene that sparked wide controversy on the platforms, between those who saw it as a message of resilience and clinging to life, and those who saw it as a painful picture of forced coexistence with daily danger.
Others expressed their concerns about the dangerous situation, pointing out that the continuation of celebrations near areas of tension reflects the extent of suffering endured by civilians in the city.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that careful calm is dominating from the neighborhoods of Aleppo in northern Syria, in response to ongoing calming communications between parties, after hours of clashes that broke out between forces from the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the vicinity of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah neighborhoods.
The observatory clarified in a press statement that the overall toll of the recent events reached 25 dead and wounded, including two women, one of whom was killed in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, and another woman and her son in areas controlled by the Syrian government, in addition to a member of the 60th Division of the National Army, along with 23 wounded in various parts of the city.
