Khaberni - Time magazine reported that U.S. President Donald Trump said Iran is eager to strike a deal to end the fighting, adding that the Iranians are tough and capable of enduring tremendous pain and I respect them for that, but they are better negotiators than fighters.
Trump's advisers told the newspaper that the White House Chief of Staff and Trump's aides informed him that the length of the war would threaten his popularity.
The newspaper quoted an informed source as saying that the U.S. Secretary of Defense was surprised by Iran's attacks on American and Israeli targets throughout the region.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the U.S. Secretary of Defense said that nothing Iran does "surprises us, and we are prepared, superior, and victorious."
