Arab Bank renews its strategic cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali and Dar Abu Abdullah Association

Arab Bank announced the renewal of its strategic cooperation with Tkiyet Um Ali and Dar Abu Abdullah Association for the year 2026, continuing its commitment to supporting national efforts aimed at achieving food security, enhancing economic empowerment, and consolidating community and volunteer work in Jordan.

The cooperation between Arab Bank and Tkiyet Um Ali enters its nineteenth consecutive year, as part of the bank's community responsibility strategy, which focuses on supporting sustainable development programs, contributing to the fight against poverty, and enhancing sustainable humanitarian and volunteer initiatives. The support for Dar Abu Abdullah Association falls within this cooperation, enhancing the integration between food security and economic empowerment programs.

The cooperation includes four main axes, represented in supporting efforts to combat hunger and food poverty by renewing the sponsorship of 102 families benefiting from Tkiyet Um Ali with sustainable monthly food parcels for a full year, alongside supporting Dar Abu Abdullah Association’s economic empowerment program by supporting the implementation of the agricultural cycle for the year 2026 at Al-Dar farm which includes 21 greenhouses at Mutah University in Karak governorate, providing economic empowerment opportunities for 21 beneficiaries. The agreement also includes the implementation of periodic volunteer activities for Arab Bank employees within the programs of Tkiyet Um Ali and Dar Abu Abdullah, focusing on enhancing sustainability concepts, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.

In this context, Samer Balqar, the General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, expressed his deep appreciation to Arab Bank for its continued support, affirming that this cooperation embodies the bank's true commitment to serving the community and enhancing the values of social solidarity, and contributes to supporting the vision of Tkiyet Um Ali towards a Jordan free from hunger, alongside enhancing the economic empowerment programs for beneficiaries through sustainable production programs.

Tkiyet Um Ali and Dar Abu Abdullah Association work on implementing integrated programs that combine food security and economic empowerment, by providing sustainable food support to the benefiting families, alongside productive and developmental programs aimed at enhancing self-reliance and achieving sustainable income.

It should be noted here that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive and integrated strategy in sustainability and community responsibility, reflecting the bank’s commitment to enhancing its economic, social, and environmental impact through working closely with various relevant entities, achieving sustainable development. The Arab Bank's social responsibility program "Together", represents one of the fruits of this approach, a multifaceted program that focuses on developing and nurturing various aspects of the community through diverse initiatives and activities that serve multiple sectors including health, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, education, orphan support, and women empowerment.
