Election of a New Management Board for the Jordanian Forum for Environmental Planning

Khaberni - The general body of the Jordanian Forum for Environmental Planning Association elected a new management board during its regular meeting held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Century Park Hotel in the capital, Amman.
The meeting featured presentations of the administrative and financial reports for 2025, where the outgoing management board reviewed the most notable achievements accomplished, alongside the challenges faced by the forum during the past year, in its efforts to promote concepts of urban environmental planning and improve the quality of the built environment.
The forum is a civilian association listed in the register of associations, which is under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment, and its activities focus on the areas of urban and built environments, including city planning and the development of buildings, public spaces, streets, and infrastructure, in addition to supporting the development of public parks and the transportation sector, achieving an integration between humans and their urban environment.
According to the provisions of the association’s constitution, five members were elected to the management board, plus one reserve member. In the first meeting of the elected board, positions were distributed as follows:
•    Engineer Bahaa Fawzi Marji – President 
•    Dr. Engineer Mais Jibreel Al-Razem – Vice President 
•    Dr. Engineer Murad Farhan Al-Kalaldeh – Secretary 
•    Dr. Aida Issa Al-Masri – Treasurer 
•    Mr. Saed Mohammed Abu Sneineh – Member 
•    Engineer Hadeel Ali Al-Qatamin – Reserve Member 
The new board affirmed its determination to continue working to promote the forum's role in supporting environmental planning issues, and developing policies and practices that contribute to achieving sustainable urban development in Jordan.
