National football team player, Adham Al-Quraishi, underwent successful knee surgery today, Monday, at the "Spitar" medical center in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The surgery came after Al-Quraishi sustained a cruciate ligament tear in his knee during the national team's match against its Moroccan counterpart last Thursday, in the Arab Cup final held in Doha.
Al-Quraishi confirmed via his official page on the social networking platform "Facebook" that the surgery was performed successfully, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the Football Association for their care and continuous monitoring.
The player will undergo an intensive medical and physical rehabilitation period in preparation for his return to the playing fields.
