Khaberni - Reports from the Spanish website "Defensa Central" revealed that the Real Madrid management declined an offer from Arsenal that would transfer Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus to "Santiago Bernabeu" on loan, to be the replacement for his compatriot Endrick who is expected to move to Lyon in France.
The newspaper confirmed that the decision to loan Endrick is to ensure he gets enough playing time at Lyon, especially after his limited participation with coach Xabi Alonso (only 99 minutes), and his desire to secure a spot with "the Selecao" at the 2026 World Cup.
Despite Madrid's previous interest in Jesus when he was at Manchester City, the current administration does not intend to sign a new striker, preferring to give confidence to the young Gonzalo who enjoys Alonso’s trust.
Reports also noted that Jesus is keen on staying at Arsenal despite his limited appearances, which makes the deal complicated and rejected from the Madrid side.
