Public Security Directs a Message to Owners of Vehicles with Expired Registrations

Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate has warned about the danger and consequences of driving vehicles without a license, confirming that doing so is considered a severe traffic violation, threatening the safety and security of road users.

The directorate explained that the expiration of a vehicle's license often accompanies a lack of technical inspections and maintenance, which might lead to the presence of dangerous technical faults in essential safety systems of the vehicle such as brakes, tires, and lighting, which are primary reasons for traffic accidents.

The Public Security Directorate emphasized that it will execute special campaigns to monitor this violation and will not be lenient in enforcing the law and taking necessary actions against it, aiming to enforce the law and protect the community, as most vehicles with expired licenses also have expired insurance contracts, resulting in the loss of others' rights and imposing an additional burden on the vehicle driver.

The directorate called on all vehicle owners and relevant entities to promptly rectify the status of their vehicles, thereby enhancing their community responsibility in creating a safer environment on the roads.
