Khaberni - The Dean of Student Affairs, in collaboration with a group from the university's "I Participate" initiative students, organized an interactive event titled "Orange World", marking International Human Rights Day, and coinciding with the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
The event included the presentation of real-life stories highlighting various forms of violence that women might encounter in several areas, including physical, electronic, psychological violence, as well as violence in sports and the workplace, aiming to raise awareness among students and promote a culture of community rejection of all forms of violence.
Awareness phrases were also distributed to the students emphasizing the importance of advocating for women and defending their rights in various humanitarian, social, and legal aspects.
Furthermore, the university's president, Professor Dr. Salam Al-Mahadin, welcomed the participating students, appreciating their efforts and purposeful initiatives, and reiterating the university's ongoing support for activities that enhance legal awareness and contribute to building a safe university environment based on humanitarian values and social justice.
