The government quickly responded to the call made by Deputy Firas Al-Qablan, which he launched under the dome regarding the debts owed by the government to King Abdullah University Hospital, amounting to 107 million dinars. This debt adversely affected the hospital's healthcare performance, leading to a shortage of medications, legal cases filed against it, and several logistics and pharmaceutical supply companies struggling to continue due to liquidity shortages.
The government has decided to allocate 40 million dinars to support the hospital, with 10 million dinars to be disbursed before the end of this year. The remaining amount will be paid at a rate of 3 million dinars per month as part of the budget allocations for the year 2026 after an agreement between the Ministers of Finance and Health, the administration of the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and the administration of King Abdullah University Hospital.
