The Eastern Military Zone foiled an attempt on its front, within its area of responsibility, to smuggle large quantities of drugs loaded by balloons guided by primitive devices on Saturday.
According to the armed forces' statement, the incident was dealt with on Jordanian territory after being detected by the border guard forces in coordination with security agencies and the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities for necessary actions.
