A number of social media users have been circulating news in the past few hours stating that the Swedish referee, who officiated the Arab Cup final match between the teams of Jordan and Morocco, posted an apology directed at the Jordanian fans, amid a widespread feeling among these fans of refereeing injustice during the course of the match.
However, after monitoring by "Khaberni," and checking with foreign and Arab media sources, this news was not mentioned, as it turned out that the account that posted the apology was a fake one, and the referee did not acknowledge any refereeing mistakes.
