Khaberni - Lebanese sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched, on Thursday, a series of raids targeting various areas in South and East Lebanon.
The sources explained that the raids targeted the heights of Jabour, Qotrani, and Rayhan in southern Lebanon, as well as the heights of Boudai and the Hermel area in the Bekaa Valley to the east of Lebanon. Another raid targeted Wadi al-Qasir in the town of Deir Syrian to the south.
According to the same source, an Israeli drone strike targeted the vicinity of the town of Taybeh in southern Lebanon.
In response, the spokesman for the Israeli army stated that its forces attacked a "camp and military buildings belonging to Hezbollah" in various areas inside Lebanon, without providing further details about the results of the strikes.
The same source also reported the destruction of military infrastructure and launch platforms in a camp used by Hezbollah for training and storage.
Later, the Israeli army said it targeted a member of Hezbollah in the area of Taybeh in southern Lebanon.
As of now, there are no official reports regarding casualties or the extent of the damage caused by the raids.
A ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel has been in effect since November 27, 2024, but the Israeli army conducts almost daily raids on Lebanon and continues to carry out incursions and operations of grubbing and blasting in the south of the country.
In August, the Lebanese government adopted an American paper to reinforce the ceasefire, which includes a timetable for disarming Hezbollah and deploying the Lebanese army in the south of the country, but Hezbollah warned that plans to confine weapons could ignite civil war.
