The Nashama Match increases restaurant and cafe reservations to 100

Khaberni - Khaberni - Workers in the tourism restaurants and cafes sector confirmed that the occupancy rates of restaurants and cafes reached 100 % in preparation for the national football team's match against its Moroccan counterpart in the final match of the Arab Cup championship, according to what was published by Al-Ghad Newspaper.

They indicated that the restaurants and cafes that display matches have witnessed a noticeable attendance since the start of the championship.

The Arab Cup (FIFA 2025) kicked off on the first of December last year with the participation of 16 Arab countries in Qatar.

Omar Al-Awad, the captain of restaurant and confectionery owners, said, “The occupancy rate of cafes, cafes, and restaurants reached 100 % coinciding with the start of the final match between the Jordanian team (Al-Nashama) and the Moroccan team.”

Al-Awad confirmed that there was a presence of team supporters over the capacity of the cafes, as the seats would not be sufficient and there would be a number of attendees who would watch the match standing, as happened in some cafes during the last match of the national team in which it won against its Saudi counterpart.

Al-Awad confirmed that during the last match between the national team and the Saudi team, the booking rate reached 100 % in most establishments.

Ramzi Hijazin, a tourism restaurant manager in Amman, said: “The booking rate is 100 % in most establishments for the final match between the national team and the Moroccan team.”

Hijazin confirmed that the booking rate in the last match of the national team ranged from 80 to 100 % in cafes.

He pointed out that the current Arab Cup significantly activated the tourism restaurants and cafes sector, as the sector experienced weakness before the start of the championship.

Amman cafe manager Ahmad Al-Abdullah said, “The turnout at cafes during the Arab Cup matches was noticeably good and revives on the days the national team plays.”

Al-Abdullah confirmed that the booking rate reached its peak during the national team's matches in general, especially its last match against the Saudi team and its ascent to the final to face the Moroccan team.

He added: “Today, the cafes, in addition to the restaurants, will be filled with citizens and team fans of various nationalities, and the booking rate has reached 100 % during this evening's final match.”

It is worth noting that the number of tourism restaurants and cafes reaches more than 1.38 thousand restaurants and cafes spread across various provinces of the kingdom.

According to unofficial statistics, the number of traditional cafes amounted to about 3 thousand establishments spread across various regions of Jordan.
