Khaberni - Al-Arabi was officially crowned champions of the First Division League of football, after defeating Al-Ramtha Union with a score of 2-1, in a match that took place on Wednesday evening at the Prince Hashim Stadium in Ramtha, during the thirteenth and final round of the league.
Al-Arabi raised its points to 30, thereby clinching the title, while Al-Ramtha Union's points froze at 21.
Earlier, Al-Arabi had secured qualification to the Professionals League alongside the team Duqra.
At the Jerash stadium, Duqra lost the leadership after drawing with the team Sama with a score of 2-2, in a match where Sama had been leading until the stoppage time when Duqra managed to equalize, raising their points to 29 and settling for second place, while Sama was relegated to the Second Division after their points stopped at 15.
In another match, Kfarsoum exited the league competition with a loss against Ma'an with a score of 1-3, in a match held at the Rusaifa stadium. Kfarsoum's points remained at 12, leading to their relegation to the Second Division, while Ma'an's points increased to 23.
Shabab Al-Aqaba secured their stay in the First Division after their significant victory over Maghir Al-Sarhan with a score of 5-1, in a match that took place at Al-Sarhan stadium, raising their points to 16, while Maghir Al-Sarhan ended the championship without any points and had been officially relegated earlier.
Al-Turra team also joined the ranks of the relegated, after their loss against Al-Hashimiya with a score of 1-5, in a match held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, freezing Al-Turra's points at 11, while Al-Hashimiya raised their points to 20.
The competitions of the last week of the league conclude tomorrow, with two matches taking place at the same time at 3:30 PM, where As-Sarih meets Jerash at Prince Hashim Stadium, while Yarmouk faces Amman FC at the Jerash Stadium.
