Khaberni - The Faculty of Engineering and Design at the Middle East University organized the faculty's Scientific Day, under the title: "Artificial Intelligence in Engineering Tomorrow and Future Designs".
The Scientific Day was sponsored by the Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, His Excellency Dr. Ya'qoub Nassereddin, and attended by University President Prof. Dr. Salam Khaled Al-Mahadin, Dean of the Faculty Dr. Ayman Awad, faculty members, and numerous students.
The events of the day included organizing the "Wataneyat" exhibition, where students of the faculty displayed artistic and design works related to the journey of the Hashemite family, highlighting different phases of His Majesty the King's life since his early childhood, alongside HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II,
where the works reflected the students’ awareness of national history and their ability to use art to express Jordanian identity and allegiance to the homeland with a structured and clear visual style.
A comprehensive exhibition of students' works from various departments of the faculty was held, where students of the Smart Systems Engineering department showcased projects that reflect an advanced level of applied understanding of modern technologies, while students of the Architecture Engineering department presented 3D models and projects for modern urban design and sustainability.
As for the students of the Graphic Design department, they exhibited creative models based on artificial intelligence technologies, while students of the Interior Design department demonstrated high skills by presenting 3D models and projects based on sustainability, reuse, and recycling.
In the same context, students of the Renewable Energy Engineering department presented practical models for generating power from wind and solar energy, alongside advanced control systems in the field of energy, reflecting growing technical awareness of the importance of shifting towards clean and sustainable energy sources.
The events witnessed broad participation of more than 20 companies specialized in the fields of engineering and design, showcasing the latest solutions and technologies, in an integrative framework reflecting the alignment of educational outcomes with labor market requirements and advanced education.
