Jordan and India sign memoranda of understanding in various fields

Khaberni - The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Ambassador Dhaifallah Al-Fayez and the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India, Nina Malhotra, signed on the sidelines of the visit of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Kingdom, a memorandum of understanding between the Jordanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation and the Indian Ministry of Water Resources regarding cooperation in the field of water resources management and development, and a memorandum of understanding between the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Indian Ministry of New and Renewable Energy regarding cooperation in the field of renewable energy.

They also signed a cultural exchange program for cooperation between the governments of the two countries for the years 2025 – 2029 and a twinning agreement between the city of Petra and the Ellora Caves, in addition to signing a letter of intent for cooperation in the field of digital transformation.

This step aims to expand the horizons of cooperation between Jordan and India and to enhance the bilateral partnership in a way that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples.
