Khaberni - The French Anti-Terror Prosecution announced on Monday the opening of an investigation in France, concurrently with the Australian authorities' investigation, into the attack that targeted a celebration on a Sydney beach, resulting in 15 people killed and 42 others injured.
The prosecution clarified in a statement that their investigation specifically focuses on "murder connected to a terrorist act".
The attack, which occurred during a Hannukah celebration, claimed among its victims 27-year-old Frenchman Dan Elkayam, and another French national was wounded.
