The World Health Organization Classifies 1980s Births as Elderly Whats the truth

Khaberni - A satirical jest on social media led to a major confusion among people born in the 1980s, as some accounts circulated a mocking news saying that the United Nations classified the 1980s births as elderly.
According to the United Nations, the elderly are classified from the age of 60 in a person's life, while the oldest individuals born in the 1980s are today less than 46 years old.

Global Age Classifications

The World Health Organization (WHO) categorizes the youth from 25 to 44 years, middle age from 44 to 60 years, the elderly from 60 to 75 years, the old age from 75 to 90 years, and the long-lived after the age of 90.

1980s Births: The Millennial Generation

People born in the 1980s (1980–1989), generally known as the "Millennial" generation (Millennials or Generation Y), or in some other classifications, the late part of "Generation X" (Generation X). Their current ages range approximately between 36 and 45 years.
This generation grew up in a unique environment blending the analog world "old television, cassette tapes, landline phones" and the beginning of the digital revolution "the Internet, the first mobile phones".
Technological adaptation, they are characterized by their great ability to adapt to technology, having witnessed the transition from physical media to digital "such as the transition from cassette tapes to CDs and then to MP3".
Personal traits, they are often described as combining values of previous generations "such as self-reliance and appreciating work", and pursuing freedom, equality, and self-expression.
