Khaberni - Khaberni - Pep Guardiola continues to establish his name in the history of the Premier League, after leading Manchester City to their 150th win in the Premier League, in matches where the team scores three or more goals, following the victory over Crystal Palace 3-0.
According to the official website of Manchester City, the Catalan coach needed only 358 matches to reach this number, breaking the previous record held by the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, who needed 522 matches to achieve the same feat with Manchester United.
Wenger is the only other coach who has reached 150 wins in this manner, after needing 524 matches during his time with Arsenal.
Historic figures
Ferguson: 245 wins with a three-goal margin or more from 810 matches.
Wenger: 228 matches from 828.
Guardiola: 150 wins from 358 matches only.
This new record reflects Guardiola's offensive philosophy based on collective football and smooth passing, which has become a distinctive feature of Manchester City during his era.
This achievement comes just weeks after Guardiola celebrated coaching his 1000th match in his career, and he became in October the fastest coach to reach 250 Premier League wins after only 349 matches.
