Khaberni - The Meteorological Department expects the kingdom to be affected by a low pressure system accompanied by rainfall on Monday.
The weather department stated that the weather will be relatively cold in most regions, with clouds appearing at different altitudes.
In the evening hours of Monday, the kingdom will gradually be affected by a low pressure system centered over the island of Cyprus, where clouds will increase and showers of rain will fall in the north and center of the kingdom, and parts of the southwestern regions, later extending to parts of the eastern regions. The winds will be moderate westerly, sometimes increasing in speed. The weather Monday night will be cold and cloudy, with rain falling occasionally in most regions, expected to be heavy at times in the western parts, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, leading to the formation of flash floods in valleys and low areas including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
A noticeable drop in temperature will occur on Tuesday, with the weather being cold, cloudy, and rainy from time to time in most regions of the kingdom. The rain is expected to be heavy at times, accompanied by thunder and hail, increasing the risk of flash floods. Fog will form in many areas, especially in mountainous heights and plains, with winds being moderate westerly to northwesterly, sometimes increasing in speed.
A slight further drop in temperature will occur on Wednesday, with cold, foggy, and partly to mostly cloudy weather prevailing in most regions, with scattered rain showers occurring intermittently, especially in the south and east of the kingdom, sometimes accompanied by thunder.
The weather will be cold in most regions on Thursday, and warmer in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some high clouds appearing, and northwesterly winds of moderate speed.
